Birchbox June 2012

It's already here - my Birchbox!  This month's theme is "Jet Setting".  With the school calendar ending and graduations commencing, it's time to plan and pack for that summer trip(s).  So the Birchbox team has come up with some great luxurious products that they have found through their travels that can last through a long flight or car trip.

The products included in this month's Birchbox:
Apothederm: Stretch Mark Cream (full size $89.95) - Gear up for summer with this peptide-packed lotion: it fades stretch marks within weeks. Now that's an excuse to buy a new swimsuit.

CleanWell: Individual Hand Santizing Wipes (full size $3.98-5.98) - No Sink? No problem. These germ-busting cloths are made with natural thyme oil to clean and soften your hands.

Scalisi Skincare: Anti-Aging Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (full size $110) - A team of biochemists spent years developing this moisturizer, which uses four different peptides to trigger collagen production and reverse wrinkles.

theBalm cosmetics: Stainiac in Beauty Queen (full size $17) - We're crazy about this two-in-one lip and cheek stain: the sheer gel formula delivers a subtle, long-wearing flush.

Band-Aid: Cynthia Rowley Dress Up Band-Aids (Pack of 20, $15) - Be prepared for life's little emergencies with these stylish designer bandages.

John Varvatos: Star USA (full size $55-70) - In honor of Father's Day, we've included this dapper cologne, a blend of ginger, juniper berries, and vetiver.  Pass it on to a lucky guy friend or family member.

I'm excited about the products in this month's Birchbox.  My kids are quite clumsy so I'll be keeping those designer band-aids in my handbag!  The awesome thing is that I received the full size box of 20 bandages which retails for $15 - so I got my $10 monthly subscription worth in just this one product alone!!  Now I would never spend that much money on band-aids but at least my kids will look stylish sporting these.  And I wish I had the Apothederm stretch mark cream when I was preggers but oh well...let's see if it can work some magic and fade what I have!

And the good news is that the Birchbox team has now introduced a new Birchbox Man subscription for $20/month.  Every month he'll receive deliveries of trial- and full-size grooming and lifestyle goods from top brands.  To get your man on the the list, go to:

I hope that you found this month's box of goodies interesting - have you signed up for your Birchbox yet??
